The position at Amcor Rigid Plastics involves crucial responsibilities within production operations that contribute directly to the manufacturing process of plastic packaging. This role encompasses operating blending systems by staging raw materials, including resin, and preparing mixture formulas that involve virgin plastics, regrind, and colorants. Candidates will engage in activities such as operating blenders, performing quality inspections, managing regrind materials, and handling packaging duties as needed, all while adhering to strict safety and quality processes. The job requires physical stamina as it involves heavy lifting, moving finished goods, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the workspace. Employment for this position is full-time with a starting wage of $21.35 per hour.
