The position emphasizes adherence to strict infection prevention protocols and requires attention to detail in cleaning and disinfecting various clinical areas, including patient rooms, surgical suites, emergency rooms, and shared spaces.
The job responsibilities include terminal cleaning of discharged patient rooms in compliance with infection control standards, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, restocking supplies, and safely handling biohazardous waste and sharps containers. The role also involves operating hospital-grade cleaning equipment such as UV disinfection systems and floor scrubbers to maintain top-tier cleanliness. Candidates must be able to respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests and maintain confidentiality and compassionate behavior while working in patient care areas. Job Duties

- Sanitize high-touch surfaces and restock supplies in restrooms and shared areas
- Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous waste and sharps containers
- Operate hospital-grade cleaning equipment, e.g., UV disinfection systems, floor scrubbers
- Follow strict protocols for infection prevention, including use of PPE
