The Bistro Service Associate/Barista at Regions Hospital’s Overlook Deli and Coffee Shop plays a crucial role in elevating the food and beverage experience offered to patients, visitors, and staff. This position is tailored to individuals who possess a cheerful, positive attitude and have a passion for customer service in a fast-paced environment. The role involves creating a diverse range of high-quality beverages, including specialty coffee and espresso drinks, teas, and juices. In addition to crafting beverages, the Bistro Service Associate is responsible for preparing and selling an assortment of upscale food items such as salads, sandwiches, and sushi, ensuring that all items meet the hospital’s high standards for freshness and presentation.

The position is classified as per diem/casual with a flexible schedule requiring a minimum of four shifts per month, including two weekend shifts. The pay rate is competitive at $20.94 per hour, and employees may be eligible for additional compensation such as shift differentials and bonuses based on performance and productivity. Beyond its core responsibilities, the Bistro Service Associate contributes to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and well-organized work environment.
