This position is for a full-time, non-management Food and Beverage role within this vibrant team. The hourly pay rate is $23.90, and the position is tip eligible, indicating that employees have the opportunity to supplement their income through gratuities. The job involves numerous active responsibilities centered on ensuring high-quality food preparation and excellent customer service. Candidate duties include preparing ingredients, portioning and cooking food according to strict recipes and standards, operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, microwaves, and fryers, and maintaining cleanliness and safety within the kitchen and surrounding areas. Food preparation also extends to handling cold meals, washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables, and testing meals to guarantee they meet quality and cooking standards. Service duties include taking customer orders, processing payments through the Micros system, handling special dietary requests or allergy notifications, and delivering food and beverages to guests.
Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols is critical in this role. Employees must comply with company policies concerning workplace safety, report any maintenance issues or hazards to management, and keep their uniforms and personal appearance professional and clean. Communication skills are essential to interact clearly and effectively with guests and team members. Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, cutting, and storing food
- wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and preparation checklists
- operate ovens, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- test meals to ensure proper cooking
- maintain food quality during preparation
- set up and break down the workstation
- serve food in appropriate portions and containers
- clean and sanitize kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- monitor and ensure appliances and foods are at proper temperatures
- take customer orders, register them in Micros, process payments and provide change
- communicate special food requirements, allergies, and nutritional needs to the kitchen
- prepare food, coffee, and beverages
- collect payments from customers
- assist food and beverage areas by cleaning and setting tables, delivering food to guests, and maintaining lobby common areas
- count cash drawer at the end of shifts, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, issue receipts, and close registers
