Job Description

PAH Management is a Dallas-based hotel ownership and management company that operates a diverse portfolio of select-service properties across multiple states. The company manages esteemed Marriott and Hilton brand hotels, focusing on delivering superior guest experiences while fostering a supportive and dynamic workplace for its associates. With a commitment to excellence, PAH Management continuously seeks to uphold high standards in hospitality through effective leadership and innovative operational practices. Their corporate philosophy centers on putting associates first, promoting teamwork, and driving the company to become America’s preferred hotel management firm. The company prioritizes equal employment opportunities, embracing diversity and inclusivity at all levels of employment and actively supporting employees’ growth and success within the hospitality industry.

The Bistro Server role at one of PAH Management’s hotels in Baton Rouge, LA, offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of the hotel’s food and beverage team. This position is designed for individuals who aim to deliver not only quality food and beverages but also exceptional customer service throughout the guest dining experience. As a Bistro Server, you will be responsible for welcoming guests warmly, taking accurate food and beverage orders, expertly preparing menu items including specialty beverages, and ensuring that service standards meet or exceed guest expectations. In addition, this role requires the operation of point-of-sale (POS) systems for order entry and payment processing, underscoring the importance of precision and efficiency in daily operations.

The applicant will immerse themselves in a vibrant and fast-paced environment where flexibility and adaptability are key. The Bistro Server is expected to contribute to the smooth running of the restaurant by completing opening and closing duties, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that workstations are well-stocked throughout service hours. This role also demands a high level of compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations to guarantee a safe and hygienic dining environment. Working at PAH Management means working in an established hotel environment with stringent operational standards tied to prestigious global hospitality brands.

This full-time culinary service position requires interpersonal skills to engage guests professionally and effectively, ensuring an inviting atmosphere within the dining space. Flexibility in working hours is expected, including availability during early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events to meet the varying business needs of the hotel. Physical stamina and the ability to manage multiple tasks—such as lifting and carrying supplies, utilizing kitchen equipment safely, and handling food preparation under time constraints—are essential to thriving in this role.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, reflecting PAH Management's commitment to rewarding talent fairly. Employees also gain access to an extensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) retirement plans; employee incentives; paid time off; and educational reimbursement. Other perks include hotel stay privileges through Marriott and Hilton programs and comprehensive insurance offerings, highlighting a supportive work environment devoted to both personal and professional growth. Overall, the Bistro Server position provides a dynamic and rewarding career opportunity within a respected hospitality management company dedicated to excellence and associate development.
