The role involves serving food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner to guests, ensuring that all service aligns with the company’s brand and sustainability policies. As a server, candidates will begin their shift by setting up necessary supplies, food, and beverages and maintaining a well-stocked work area throughout. They will take orders, process payments, and communicate any special dietary requirements or allergies to the kitchen staff. The position also requires preparation of food, coffee, and alcoholic beverages when needed, as well as assisting in other food and beverage operations such as bartending or bussing during peak times or staff shortages.

Candidates will be responsible for handling money accurately, including counting the cash bank at the end of shifts, completing cashier reports, resolving discrepancies, securing receipts, and ensuring the bank is secured according to company policies. Maintaining cleanliness of equipment and work areas, locking equipment doors, and observing all regulations related to alcohol service are essential. Employees are expected to follow safety protocols, use protective equipment, and adhere to OSHA and MSDS standards. Commitment to sustainability is reflected in compliance with the company’s EarthView program guidelines.

The role demands physical stamina, as it involves standing for long periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching. Work schedules are varied and may include holidays, weekends, and alternating shifts. Job Duties

  • Set up necessary supplies food and beverage at the beginning of the shift and maintain a stocked work area at all times
  • Take orders from customers input orders obtain payment and provide change
  • Communicate additional meal requirements allergies dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen
  • Prepare food coffee and other beverages including alcohol when necessary
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food when necessary
  • Perform other food and beverage functions such as bartending and bussing in the event of staff staffing shortages or peak periods
  • Count bank at end of shift complete designated cashier reports resolve any discrepancies drop off receipts and secure bank in accordance with established policies
  • Clean all equipment and areas locking equipment doors etc
  • Abide by state federal and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM EarthView program
  • Practice safe work habits wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
