The Server position at Life Time is a vital role within the company's LifeCafe and Bistro dining venues. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service to members by accurately taking and serving food and drink orders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. Starting hourly wages range from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications, and the position offers both part-time and full-time employment opportunities. Servers will work primarily at the pool deck stations, interacting closely with members to present menus, answer questions about food and beverages, and provide recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
This role requires a proactive, attentive individual capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced food service environment. Servers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in their assigned areas by sanitizing surfaces, arranging furniture appropriately, and swiftly removing dirty dishes. The ability to process payments accurately and communicate effectively with kitchen staff to relay orders is essential. Additionally, certifications like ServSafe (required within 90 days of hire) and CPR/AED (required within 30 days of hire) are mandatory to ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The position demands physical ability to lift over 20 pounds repeatedly and to remain mobile throughout the shift.

- 1+ year of experience working in a restaurant with a fast casual or full service experience
- ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
- ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time

Job Duties
- Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service
- takes orders from members/customers in assigned stations at the pool deck, relays information to the kitchen, and efficiently delivers the food/drink items ordered
- ensures cleanliness and order of the area including cleaning surfaces and placing tables/chairs in proper places
- calculates bill and processes payments
