HHM Hotels offers both full-time and part-time employment opportunities with competitive wages, reflecting its dedication to attracting and retaining talented professionals who share its passion for excellence.

The role of Food and Beverage Server at HHM Hotels is a vital part of the company’s commitment to outstanding guest service. As a Food and Beverage Server, the individual will play a key role in ensuring guests enjoy courteous and friendly service that aligns with the hotel’s established brand, guest service, and sustainability standards. This position offers a clear career growth path from Banquet Server and Captain positions to supervisory and managerial roles such as Restaurant Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, and ultimately Banquet Manager, providing employees with ample opportunities for professional advancement within the hospitality industry.

The Food and Beverage Server’s responsibilities include preparing and serving food and beverages to guests, taking and inputting customer orders accurately, handling payments, and ensuring special dietary and allergy requirements are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff. Additionally, servers may be required to prepare some food items and beverages, including coffee and alcoholic drinks, particularly during peak periods or in situations of understaffing. The role also involves maintaining a clean and stocked work area, adhering to health and safety regulations such as MSDS and OSHA standards, and ensuring compliance with federal and corporate policies regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages.

Working in this role demands excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction. The Food and Beverage Server must be able to perform various food and beverage functions, like bartending and bussing, and handle financial tasks such as balancing the cash bank at the end of shifts and completing cashier reports with accuracy. The position requires physical stamina due to standing, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching throughout the work shift, which may include holidays, weekends, and alternating shifts.

HHM Hotels offers its employees a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision health insurance, paid time off, a 401k company match, daily pay options, and free basic life insurance. Employees also have 24/7 access to TELUS Health for confidential work-life resources, travel discounts, commuter transit and parking benefits, and various wellness and educational programs. The company fosters a work culture based on its values: People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It, emphasizing personal responsibility, continuous improvement, and a heart-centered approach to hospitality. This role is perfect for individuals seeking to grow their career in the hospitality sector while contributing to a dynamic team in a rewarding environment.
