The current opportunity is for a part-time Bistro Server working the AM shift only. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key point of contact for guests accessing the bistro, overseeing the preparation and serving of made-to-order food and beverage items. This position requires a motivated team player who excels in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming and efficient dining atmosphere. You will be responsible for taking guest orders, preparing and cooking food items, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly, and maintaining a clean and sanitary service environment throughout your shift.

Being a Bistro Server at Island Hospitality is more than just food service; it is about creating a memorable dining experience from start to finish. The role demands the ability to effectively handle guest inquiries, monitor beverage consumption responsibly, and ensure the bistro area remains well-stocked and orderly. Job Requirements

  • Taking guests' orders, cooking, and delivering food
  • ensuring a wonderful dining experience from beginning to end
  • receiving food and beverage orders and ensuring the bistro service space remains well-stocked at all times
  • cleaning and sanitizing tables, countertops, and floors after each service
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
  • variable work hours based on guest occupancy, season, and staffing
  • willingness to work AM shifts only
  • compliance with work authorization and legal requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
  • effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary

  • readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
  • ability to help validate customers' IDs and monitor all beverage consumption
