The Bistro Manager role at Dimondale Nursing Care Center is a dynamic and crucial position that involves assisting the Executive Chef in managing the overall operation of the Bistro. The Bistro Manager ensures the Bistro operates in full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as facility standards, guaranteeing that health, safety, and sanitary requirements are consistently met. This position requires a focus on maintaining high-quality service standards for residents and visitors alike while ensuring the Bistro environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming.
The Bistro Manager will be actively involved in the planning, development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of Bistro programs and activities. They will contribute to delivering a superior food and beverage service program that enhances customer satisfaction and supports the mission of providing excellent resident care. Collaboration and coordination with multiple departments within the facility are essential aspects of this role, ensuring a seamless and integrated dining experience.
Job responsibilities extend to administrative duties involving record keeping, reporting, and evaluation to maintain control over equipment and supplies, as well as assisting in developing and enforcing Bistro policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also help supervise Bistro personnel by participating in hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation processes.

Job Duties
- Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the functioning of the Bistro, its programs, and activities
- Prepare and deliver an EPIC food and beverage service program while maximizing customer satisfaction
- Assist in the coordination with food related activities with other departments
- Assist in developing, maintaining and implementing written Bistro policies and procedures
- Assist in performing administrative duties such as completing necessary forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc., to assure control of equipment of supplies
- Assist in the supervision of the Bistro personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance
