The Bartender at Life Time plays a critical role in enhancing the member experience within the cafe or lounge setting by providing prompt, courteous, and professional beverage service. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of cocktail preparation, adherence to alcohol serving laws, and an ability to create an inviting atmosphere that aligns with Life Time's high standards of service and wellness philosophy. The Bartender is responsible not only for mixing and serving drinks but also for maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory, handling payments accurately, and ensuring a safe environment for all patrons. This is a full-time position that requires certification to serve alcohol and a commitment to upholding the company’s values of inclusion, safety, and hospitality. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
  • Certified to serve alcohol
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
  • Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
  • Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
  • Certified to serve alcohol
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
  • Experience with inventory and ordering (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Follows recipes in order to appropriately prepare cocktails and other drinks, including adding garnish
  • Serves members and customers in a timely fashion, including checking identification, accepting payment, and answering any questions that may arise
  • Maintains cleanliness by cleaning bar surface, furniture, and equipment and returning used dishware to the bar/kitchen
  • Maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
  • Reconciles the bar's cash register at the end of the shift
