We are currently seeking motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Food and Beverage Servers. This role is essential in delivering quick, efficient, and friendly service of food and beverages to our residents and guests. The position involves accepting food orders, communicating effectively with the kitchen, and ensuring timely delivery, with the goal of meeting and exceeding residents’ expectations. The ideal candidate will uphold our HEART values by demonstrating hospitality, excellence, appreciation, respect, and teamwork throughout their daily interactions. Scheduled hours for this position are from 7 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday, with some weekend availability required. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided, including required food safety certifications. The role requires good communication skills in English, basic computer competencies for POS and payroll systems, and the ability to work independently and solve practical problems with limited supervision. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to complete and pass food safety training
- Effective English communication skills
- Basic proficiency with computers and POS systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends
- Ability to maintain professionalism and positive attitude
- Ability to make independent decisions and solve practical problems
Job Qualifications
- No previous experience necessary but food service experience preferred
- Successful completion of food safety training and obtaining required food handling and sanitation certificates
- Clear and effective communication skills in English
- Basic computer skills including POS and payroll systems
- Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Positive and friendly demeanor towards residents and co-workers
Job Duties
- Accept food orders from residents and guests
- Communicate food orders accurately to the kitchen staff
- Deliver food and beverages promptly to residents and guests
- Ensure resident and guest satisfaction by responding to needs and requests quickly
- Actively buss and reset tables
- Complete all assigned side work
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with residents, visitors, and co-workers
