Job Description

The Little Gym is a renowned global enrichment and physical development center dedicated to children from 4 months up to 12 years old. With over 300 locations worldwide, it has built a solid reputation over nearly four decades for nurturing children's growth through gymnastics-based programs that inspire achievement, skill development, and newfound confidence. The Little Gym provides a clean, safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can develop at their own pace while participating in parent/child classes, pre-K, and grade school programs. The company is deeply committed to fostering a supportive community where children feel encouraged and motivated to reach their full potential. The Little Gym focuses on movement-based learning and imaginative play, helping kids build a valuable foundation for life's adventures by enhancing their physical abilities and social skills.

The role available is for enthusiastic, energetic individuals, ideally current or former gymnasts or cheerleaders, who love working with children and are passionate about giving back to the community. This position offers a starting pay of $12 to $15 per hour depending on experience, with eligibility for raises after 60 days and a 401(k) matching benefit up to 4%. The position provides an exciting opportunity to teach classes based on the company’s proven curriculum and teaching method, though extensive training is provided to ensure all instructors are well-prepared. As an instructor, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and creating a family-like atmosphere for members, ensuring every child and parent feels welcomed and valued.

Beyond daily classes, the role includes hosting and leading birthday parties, engaging with kids in a fun and lively way, and maintaining a consistent weekend schedule primarily comprising Saturday and Sunday afternoon shifts. The Little Gym strongly values teamwork, positivity, and a playful spirit but also expects professionalism and the ability to focus when it matters. The position not only emphasizes physical activity—keeping you moving and energized throughout the workday—but also presents a unique chance to form meaningful connections with children and their families, creating lasting memories and positive impacts in their lives.

At The Little Gym, employees enjoy a vibrant workplace culture where fun and development go hand in hand. The company believes in valuing its staff just as much as its children by offering opportunities for advancement, comprehensive training, and development programs. The supportive environment nurtures growth, both professionally and personally, ensuring that team members feel empowered to deliver exceptional experiences every day. Whether you see this as a long-term career or a fun part-time job, The Little Gym is committed to training you as if it were a lifelong profession, positioning you for success while enjoying every moment of the journey. If you love inspiring others, being active, and having fun, this unique opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.
