A significant portion of this position involves organizing and running children's birthday parties and various craft classes, ensuring a fun, stress-free, and engaging environment for party attendees and other guests. The Event Coordinator's responsibilities extend beyond event planning to include a diverse range of duties aimed at maintaining an excellent shopping and operational environment. This includes assisting customers in finding products, providing helpful solutions, and ensuring a quick and friendly checkout experience. The role also requires active participation in store operational tasks such as unloading delivery trucks, restocking merchandise, maintaining order and cleanliness throughout the store, and supporting company initiatives related to shrink control and safety.

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons like goody bags and balloons
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- Assist customers with shopping and locating products
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote Rewards program and credit card enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- Support Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store
- Participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and merchandise recovery
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and maintain company compliance
- Interact respectfully with others and promote a positive image
- Be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness and maintenance
- Perform other duties as assigned
