Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children and organizing events
- Experience in retail or customer service
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes
- Ability to access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and moving within the store
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to follow company policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- Experience in event planning or coordination
- Experience working with children and organizing children’s events
- Previous retail or customer service experience
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- Ability to engage effectively with customers of all ages
- Organizational and creative problem-solving skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to manage stress and interact positively with team members
- Experience demonstrating craft projects
- Basic administrative skills such as email correspondence and record keeping
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and crafting classes
- Engage customers of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate craft projects and provide instructions
- Prepare and set up party additions such as goodie bags and balloons
- Inform customers and team members about upcoming events
- Handle administrative tasks like responding to emails and filling out paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on feedback
- Ensure customer satisfaction during events
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Load and unload deliveries
- Assist customers with shopping and locating products
- Operate the cash register with friendly and efficient service
- Promote rewards program and credit card enrollments
- Support omnichannel processes including online ordering and in-store pickup
- Assist with stock management and merchandising
- Participate in loss prevention programs
- Adhere to company policies and operational procedures
- Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers
- Participate in store cleanliness and maintenance activities
