The role available is Biomedical Technician II (BMET II), a crucial position within the clinical engineering team. This role involves installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision. BMET IIs utilize advanced test equipment and tools to ensure the optimal function and safety of clinical devices. They often provide technical advice to medical and clinical staff about the safe operation of equipment. Additionally, the BMET II assists in developing equipment specifications and ensures all regulatory compliance measures are met. Responsibilities span technical servicing, regulatory compliance, account relationship management, and inventory control. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range estimated between $27 and $31 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
