The role of Bingo Shift Manager is essential for sustaining the success and growth of the Bingo department. This position requires dynamic leadership to manage various team members including Bingo Admission Clerks, Floor Clerks, Callers, and Supervisors. As a leader within the department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily Bingo gaming sessions, ensuring that operational policies and procedures are followed meticulously to safeguard the department's integrity and profitability. The Bingo Shift Manager will work closely with department leadership and peers to develop and introduce new games and promotions, constantly seeking ways to enhance the overall guest experience and increase engagement.
This position demands a blend of managerial skills combined with a deep knowledge of gaming operations and compliance with local jurisdiction gaming laws including federal and state regulations. Your responsibilities will encompass interviewing, hiring, and training team members; scheduling shifts; performance appraisals; and handling disciplinary actions when necessary. You will also be charged with resolving guest complaints in a timely and positive manner, promoting excellent guest relations, and mentoring team members to encourage professional growth and effective teamwork. The role requires flexibility to work various shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Performance metrics including profitability and operational results of each Bingo session will be key focuses, and you will be expected to recommend and implement strategic changes to protect and improve the department's financial health. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment will be essential, as will the capacity to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- three years of supervisory or management experience
- ability to use standard office equipment and Microsoft Office
- ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
- ability to interact professionally with guests and team members at all levels
- ability to speak in front of small groups
- ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to perform job duties including talking, hearing, standing, sitting, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, moving freely throughout the office and property for duration of scheduled shift
- ability to operate a personal computer
- ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 15 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance
- willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment while performing job duties
- specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Job Duties
- Carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws

- recommend and implement changes and additions to protect profitability
- promote and demonstrate positive guest relations
- ensure timely, positive resolution of guest issues and complaints received in both written and verbal format
- help develop, guide, mentor and educate team members
- maintain knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws including federal, state, and other regulations
- ensure full compliance with departmental internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations
- perform other duties as assigned
