Job Description
The hiring establishment is a professional bingo operation, likely part of a casino or gaming venue, dedicated to providing an entertaining and well-managed bingo experience. This type of company focuses on delivering high-quality guest service in a lively gaming environment, combining sales, customer interaction, and operational integrity to ensure a fun and smooth session for all participants. The establishment is committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and organized bingo room, with attention to detail such as proper equipment setup and adherence to gaming regulations.
The position of Bingo Agent (Caller | Cashier) is essential to the seamless functioning of bingo sessions. This role involves a blend of responsibilities that include floor service, handling cash transactions, setting up electronic units, calling games, paying out winnings, and offering customer assistance. The Bingo Agent plays a crucial part in balancing the operational efficiency with engaging customer interaction, requiring strong multitasking abilities and excellent communication skills.
In this role, the Bingo Agent sells bingo paper, electronic units, and daubers while managing cash drawers and reconciling sales with precision. They assist guests in choosing seats, setting up electronic machines, and explaining game rules to promote an enjoyable and fair playing environment. When assigned, the agent performs as a Bingo Caller, using a clear speaking voice to announce numbers, maintain game pace, and foster a dynamic atmosphere that keeps the audience engaged. The agent is responsible for verifying winning cards and claims promptly and ensuring payouts are accurate and professional.
The Bingo Agent helps prepare the bingo room before sessions by stocking materials, checking equipment, and operating various gaming systems such as Planet Bingo and FortuNet flashboards as well as the public address system. Monitoring game progress, jackpots, and promotional side activities falls under the agent’s duties, along with answering guest questions about rules and jackpots and resolving any disputes with calm professionalism.
Strong cash-handling skills and basic computer literacy are fundamental for this position, but the company provides bingo system training to support success in the role. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in casinos, bingo settings, or cash-handling environments. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a high school diploma or GED, and possess the necessary Nevada Gaming Registration. Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, is required to accommodate the operational hours of the bingo sessions.
This full-time or part-time Bingo Agent role is perfect for individuals who enjoy interactive customer service, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced gaming atmosphere. The position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that values professionalism, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence in the exciting world of bingo entertainment.
