Established over a century ago, Sherwin-Williams has solidified its position as a trusted name in the paint industry by continually innovating superior products and providing exceptional customer service. The company operates an extensive network of retail stores, wholesale branches, and distribution facilities, offering a comprehensive product portfolio that includes interior and exterior paints, stains, primers, wood finishes, and industrial coatings. Sherwin-Williams is committed to creating a positive impact by inspiring and improving the world with colorful and protective solutions that enhance spaces and protect what matters most.
As part of its retail team, Sherwin-Williams is currently seeking dedicated Store Associates to join their Store #1363 located at 19849 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236 2505. The Store Associate is responsible for understanding customer needs, answering questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommending suitable solutions that meet those needs. This role demands an individual who is bilingual in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.

They must remain knowledgeable about the latest product features and innovations to provide beneficial recommendations and assist customers both in-person and over the phone. In addition to customer service, the role involves achieving sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and maintaining accurate records such as work order files and custom formulas. Physical tasks include pulling products from the sales floor or warehouse, tinting and mixing paints to specifications, stocking shelves, setting up displays, and assisting with deliveries.
This position requires employees to handle cash and other payment methods securely, access electronic equipment and sensitive personal information, and comply with company policies including criminal history reviews to ensure the safety and integrity of the business and its community. The job is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift weights up to 70 pounds, as well as flexibility to work scheduled hours including evenings and weekends.
Sherwin-Williams offers a stable and dynamic work environment focused on growth, development, and community connection. Employees benefit from a comprehensive rewards package designed to support their health, well-being, and financial security, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. The company fosters an inclusive team culture and provides opportunities for learning and career advancement, making it an ideal place for individuals passionate about delivering excellent service and building a professional career in retail sales. This role is essential for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced retail setting and are committed to upholding the company’s mission to inspire and improve the world through superior paint products and customer care.
