Their products are used in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, making spaces brighter and stronger. The company is deeply invested in the growth and well-being of its employees, fostering a supportive workplace culture that values development, inclusivity, and community connection.
Sherwin-Williams operates retail stores across many locations, providing customers with access to an extensive range of paints, coatings, and related products. Their stores serve both wholesale and retail customers, offering expert advice and tailored solutions to meet specific needs. The company values the knowledge, passion, and dedication of its staff, who play a key role in upholding the high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
This part-time Store Associate role at Sherwin-Williams is essential to the success of their retail stores, specifically at Store #703565 located at 5815 E Sprague Ave, Spokane, WA 99212. The position offers an hourly wage of $17.50 and involves working closely with customers to understand their requirements, address inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the most suitable solutions. Store Associates are expected to maintain a thorough understanding of product features and ensure that the store environment meets high visual and quality standards.
Part of the role includes efficiently resolving any customer concerns, ensuring clients have a positive experience from the moment they enter the store to when they complete their purchases. Associates assist customers both in person and over the phone, fostering productive trust-based relationships with wholesale and retail clients. They are accountable for achieving sales goals regularly, contributing to the store's overall performance.
Additionally, Store Associates manage sales transactions accurately, maintain precise work order files and formulas, and perform inventory tasks such as stocking shelves, pulling products from the warehouse, and keeping their assigned areas in an in-stock and presentable condition. They also operate tinting and mixing equipment as needed, ensuring that customized orders meet customer specifications. Beyond the sales floor, associates help with loading and unloading delivery trucks and may assist in making deliveries, playing an integral part in the store’s day-to-day operations.
Sherwin-Williams prioritizes the safety and security of its customers, employees, and the general public. As such, candidates for this role undergo a review of their criminal history as part of the hiring process. The company is an equal employment opportunity employer, committed to non-discrimination and inclusion in all aspects of employment.
Sherwin-Williams is dedicated to supporting their employees with a robust benefits package even for part-time roles, including health benefits like prescription savings and virtual physician visits, retirement savings plans, vacation, holidays, military leave, and paid bereavement leave. In addition, the flexibility of part-time employment allows associates to balance their work with other commitments, aligning with Sherwin-Williams' commitment to life, career, and community support.
Overall, this Store Associate position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service, sales, and working within a well-established, values-driven company.
