Sherwin-Williams is a leading global manufacturer and retailer of paints, coatings, and related products, known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and excellent customer service. With a rich history of helping customers color and protect what matters most, Sherwin-Williams operates a vast network of retail stores and wholesale branches, serving both individual consumers and professional contractors. The company prides itself on fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment that empowers employees to grow their careers while making a positive impact in their communities. Sherwin-Williams is dedicated to providing its employees with comprehensive benefits, opportunities for professional development, and a culture of collaboration and respect.

The Store Associate position at Sherwin-Williams is critical to the success of its retail operations, specifically at Store #2278 located at 209 Hope Mills Road in Fayetteville, NC. This role involves working closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer questions regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions. Store Associates are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by promptly addressing concerns and ensuring maximum satisfaction for every client. They must stay well-informed about product features and maintain the store’s high-quality visual standards to present a welcoming and professional environment.

Store Associates play a vital role in achieving the store’s sales goals by assisting customers in person and over the phone, processing sales transactions accurately, and fulfilling orders in a timely manner. The role entails pulling products from the sales floor or warehouse, tinting and mixing paints according to customer specifications, stocking shelves, setting up displays, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store. Additionally, Store Associates may assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks and supporting delivery activities as needed.

Given the nature of customer interactions, which may include minors and access to cash and sensitive personal information, Sherwin-Williams conducts thorough criminal history reviews to ensure safety and protect the company's reputation. Candidates selected for the role must meet specific requirements, including legal authorization to work, fluency in English and Spanish, and a valid driver’s license.

Sherwin-Williams values diversity and equal opportunity, welcoming all qualified candidates regardless of race, gender, disability, or other legally protected factors. The company supports veterans through priority referrals and maintains strict policies to protect applicants’ personal information during hiring. Sherwin-Williams incentivizes its employees by providing a competitive wage range determined by skills, experience, and certifications. The company also emphasizes work-life balance, with flexibility to enhance health and well-being, and robust benefits that cover retirement, healthcare, and total well-being. Joining Sherwin-Williams means becoming part of a team that is passionate about creating brighter, stronger spaces and delivering exceptional results through dedication and collaboration.
