The Bilingual Customer Service Representative (English/Spanish) role based at the SRS Building Products branch in Chicago is a pivotal position designed to enhance customer satisfaction by providing outstanding service both in person and via communication channels such as phone and email. This position plays a vital part in the daily operations of the branch, functioning as the primary point of contact for walk-in customers and a liaison between the sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment. Candidates for this role are expected to be proactive, tech-savvy, and deeply customer-focused, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The position requires the use of CRM and ERP systems to manage orders and customer information accurately, contributing directly to the sales growth by identifying new business opportunities. This customer-facing role involves handling inquiries, resolving complaints, providing product information, and processing transactions efficiently. Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Able to pass background checks and drug screening
- Intermediate ERP system skills
- Experience in B2B relationship management in building materials distribution
