The role of Porter at Asset Living is a vital support position within the maintenance team, designed to ensure that the community’s grounds, buildings, and shared spaces are kept in excellent condition. This position involves assisting in various maintenance tasks, including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic repairs, all aligned with the property’s operational objectives. The Porter plays a key role in the make-ready process for units and common areas in support of lease-ups and resident satisfaction. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, the Porter is responsible for cleaning, trash removal, inspecting property conditions, and helping maintain a safe and attractive environment. The role requires excellent attention to detail, customer service focus, and adherence to safety standards, including OSHA guidelines. The position offers a salary range of $17 to $18 per hour and is full-time, with additional benefits like medical, dental, vision, life, accidental and disability insurance, 401K with employer matching, paid sick time, holidays, and performance bonuses. This position is safety-sensitive and may require working overtime, on-call emergency duties, weekends, and nights.
