Job Description
FNBT is a well-established financial institution committed to providing exceptional banking services to its customers. As a reputable community bank, FNBT focuses on building strong customer relationships through personalized service and a diverse range of financial products. Known for its supportive work environment and commitment to diversity, FNBT values integrity, professionalism, and excellence in its operations. The company is dedicated to creating a workplace where employees can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the financial well-being of their customers and the community they serve.
The role of the Bank Teller at FNBT is an essential position designed for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This position involves directly interacting with customers to provide outstanding service while handling financial transactions efficiently and accurately. The Bank Teller is responsible for receiving and paying out cash, processing deposits, and assisting customers with a variety of bank services, including selling money orders, cashier's checks, wire transfers, and certificates of deposit. Working under direct supervision, the teller will participate actively in a high-volume sales environment, engaging in cross-selling and promoting bank products to new and existing account holders.
This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a stressful and noisy setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with cash handling, transaction processing, and verifying checks and identification to prevent fraud. Given FNBT's diverse customer base, including a large Spanish-speaking population, bilingual abilities are considered an asset. The Bank Teller must maintain regular and predictable attendance, exhibit professionalism in all customer interactions, and uphold the financial institution's established policies and procedures.
Employment at FNBT offers individuals a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to grow within a respected bank that values community relationships and employee development. This full-time role demands physical stamina, as it requires standing or walking for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Schedules may vary based on business needs, requiring flexibility from candidates. Working with FNBT means joining an inclusive and equal opportunity employer that fosters career advancement and supports employees with a range of benefits designed to enhance job satisfaction and work-life balance.
