This part-time Customer Service Specialist role at Sherwin-Williams is based primarily within a 15-mile radius of Store #708968 located at 125444 Pacific Hwy S, Kent, WA 98032. The position requires bilingual fluency in both Spanish and English, reflecting Sherwin-Williams' commitment to serving diverse communities effectively. As a Customer Service Specialist, your primary responsibility is to engage directly with wholesale and retail customers to understand and address their painting and coating needs. You will provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products, helping customers select the right solutions and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role includes promptly resolving any customer issues and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product features and store layouts. Additionally, you will uphold the high-quality visual standards of both the products and the store's appearance.
Your duties will also encompass achieving sales goals by providing exceptional service and product knowledge, processing transactions accurately, managing inventory presentation, and assisting with the tinting and mixing of paint products to meet customer specifications. Your interaction with customers may include minors, and you will have access to cash, payment methods, store merchandise, and personal information, which requires a commitment to safety and confidentiality. A background check is mandatory for this position to maintain Sherwin-Williams’ high operational standards and ensure the safety of customers, employees, and the public.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
- must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
- if internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have received at least a “meets expectations” (3) rating on your most recent performance appraisal
- if internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position
Job Qualifications
- Have at least a high school diploma or GED
- have at least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
- have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
Job Duties
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
- build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
- process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures
- follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- maintain precise work order files and formulas
- pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse

- assist in making deliveries, as needed
