The Branch Customer Service Specialist role at Sherwin-Williams is a full-time position designed for individuals passionate about delivering excellent customer service and contributing to the success of the store. This position primarily involves working directly with commercial paint customers to understand their needs, answer their questions about the company’s extensive range of Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend tailored solutions. The specialist plays a critical role in building strong and productive relationships with wholesale customers, ensuring that they receive timely, accurate, and helpful service. Alongside customer interaction, the role requires maintaining high standards of product quality and store presentation, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and the operation of tinting and mixing equipment.

Working across two store locations in Independence and Grandview, Missouri, the Branch Customer Service Specialist is also responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals to drive business growth. They will handle sales transactions accurately and consistently with company procedures, manage work order files and formulas, and support logistics tasks such as loading, unloading, and assisting with deliveries as needed. The position involves frequent communication with customers, some of whom may be minors, and access to valuable company assets and personal information, requiring a thorough background check to ensure safety and integrity.

Sherwin-Williams values its employees as the backbone of its success and invests heavily in their personal and professional development. The company emphasizes flexibility, health, and well-being, providing employees with access to competitive rewards and benefits that support a balanced life. Whether you are looking to grow your career in sales, customer service, or the paint and coatings industry, this role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a respected and stable company with a strong commitment to community and sustainability.
