The company is currently seeking a skilled Bilingual Event Manager to join its dynamic team. This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $75,000, reflective of the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate. The Bilingual Event Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the daily operations and coordination of events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing for effective communication with diverse client bases and vendors.
In this role, the Event Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning and management of a variety of events of medium to high complexity. This involves multitasking across different event components, maintaining strict timelines, and ensuring adherence to budgetary goals. The position requires strong organizational skills to process documentation and develop detailed schedules that guarantee adequate service coverage. Furthermore, the manager will coordinate vendor services, maintain inventory and supplies, and oversee the setup and takedown of event spaces to ensure all aspects meet client needs and company standards.
Collaboration is key in this role; the Event Manager will work closely with company leadership, vendors, and staff, mentoring and training event personnel while assessing and enhancing their performance. The ability to provide guidance in resolving issues and maintaining compliance with safety policies is essential. This role demands flexibility, strong communication skills, and the capacity to respond effectively to the dynamic nature of event management.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma / GED
- 4 years relevant experience
- May be required to have a valid driver's license
- Must complete all safety and task training certifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be able to read basic floor plans
- Ability to change tasks or assignments outside normal duties
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Bilingual in Spanish required

Job Duties
- Provide a high quality of service to the customers
- Multitasking medium and high-level events with leadership and high-level users
- Maintain timelines, process documents, and other organizational tactics
- Ensure events meet budgetary goals on a sustaining basis
- Plan and develop work schedules to ensure adequate service
- Procure and coordinate vendor services to support onsite events
- Audit and maintain inventories supplies and equipment
- Inspect event aspects to ensure they conform to the event needs
- Create specialized floor plans and coordinate event setup/take down
- Ensure that event set-ups/take downs are completed timely, accurately, safely, and efficiently
- Ensure rooms are operational by conducting daily and weekly checks
- Maintain and update event data and distribute to the appropriate teams
- Contact end users for missing or conflicting information
- Work collaboratively with company leadership and other vendor management to understand successful event criteria
- Onboard, train, and mentor event staff
- Provide training to staff and community partners who use the Event Management
- Provide guidance in resolving issues
- Comply with company safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Stop at risk behavior of others and self
- Other duties as assigned
