Job Description
Sherwin-Williams is a leading global company specializing in the manufacture, distribution, and sale of paints, coatings, and related products. With a rich history dating back over a century, Sherwin-Williams has built a strong reputation for quality and innovation in the coatings industry. The company’s dedicated team works tirelessly to inspire and improve the world by coloring and protecting what matters, whether that be homes, businesses, or industrial facilities. Sherwin-Williams offers a wide array of products and solutions designed to meet the needs of both wholesale and retail customers, providing them with high-quality paints, coatings, and services that enhance and protect their properties.
As a Customer Service Specialist at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between customers and the company’s extensive product offerings. This retail and wholesale position is located at Store #707119 at 8410 Abrams Rd, Dallas, TX 75243. The role is important in ensuring customer satisfaction by answering inquiries, recommending the correct products, and resolving issues efficiently. As part of the Sherwin-Williams team, you will engage in a dynamic environment where your ability to communicate effectively and provide expert advice is critical.
The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for assisting customers both in person and over the phone, understanding their needs, and offering appropriate solutions from Sherwin-Williams’ wide range of products. This includes building trust relationships with wholesale and retail clients, processing sales transactions accurately, and maintaining store standards to uphold the company’s high visual and quality expectations. You will also be involved in hands-on tasks such as tinting and mixing paints to customer specifications, stocking shelves, cleaning equipment, and helping with delivery as needed.
In addition to customer interaction, this role requires maintaining precise records, managing inventory, and achieving sales targets consistently on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Working at Sherwin-Williams means being a part of a diverse and inclusive team that supports growth, career development, and personal well-being. The company emphasizes stability and momentum, ensuring employees have opportunities to enhance their skills and advance their careers. From competitive compensation to comprehensive benefits that support health, retirement, and work-life balance, Sherwin-Williams invests in the success of its employees.
The hiring process includes an online application followed by a digital video interview and an in-store interview for top candidates, making it accessible and flexible for applicants. Sherwin-Williams is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. This role requires adherence to company policies, including a review of criminal history to maintain a safe and trustworthy environment for customers and staff alike. If you are motivated by customer service and ready to be part of a respected company with a powerful mission, the Customer Service Specialist position at Sherwin-Williams offers a rewarding career path where your contributions are valued and your potential is nurtured.
