We are currently seeking dependable, passionate, bilingual Caregivers to join our team. This role is a part-time position that requires you to be available for most of the day and week, reflecting the demanding nature of caregiving. The hourly pay ranges from $18.50 to $20.00, reflecting the importance and responsibility attached to this role. The successful candidate will have completed Home Care Aide Registration (HCA) and will demonstrate outstanding communication skills, patience, friendliness, and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
As a caregiver, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of our senior clients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with ambulation and mobility both inside the home and during outings such as doctor visits and walks. You will also assist clients with personal care, hygiene, and physical therapy exercises, helping promote their health and independence. Meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, shopping assistance, and providing pleasant companionship are key duties that nurture the holistic well-being of each client.
Working in this role demands not only physical endurance but also emotional resilience and strong ethics. You must be able to respond effectively and responsibly in case of emergencies, reporting any unusual incidents promptly. The role requires adherence to health and safety standards, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients at all times. Job Requirements
- Home Care Aide (HCA) registration required
- high school diploma or equivalent
- proven experience as a caregiver preferred
- knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)

Job Duties
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
- light housekeeping
- assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- help clients with physical therapy exercises
- plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
- do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop
- perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
- be a pleasant and supportive companion
- report any unusual incidents
- act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
