This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish to better serve a diverse resident base and ensure clear, effective communication throughout the leasing process. The Leasing Consultant will be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents, guiding them through each phase of leasing while cultivating an inviting and informative community environment.\n\nThe position offers a competitive pay rate of $16 to $18 per hour and promises a supportive work environment where continuous learning and professional development are prioritized. This role reports directly to the property manager and plays a critical role in not only leasing apartments but also fostering strong resident relationships, driving lease renewals, and enhancing resident satisfaction.\n\nIn this role, the Leasing Consultant will greet potential residents, conduct property tours, and identify their housing needs and preferences to close leasing deals efficiently. The consultant will manage leasing paperwork, including applications, lease agreements, and necessary checks such as employment and credit verification. They are responsible for collecting security deposits, rent, and other charges associated with move-ins while communicating lease terms and community policies clearly to residents. Additionally, the consultant will ensure that apartments are prepared and move-in ready by coordinating inspections and addressing last-minute touch-ups.\n\nThe Leasing Consultant will also be a key player in marketing efforts to attract new residents through creative strategies and in managing lease renewals to maximize resident retention. Responsiveness and proactive communication are essential as they will handle inquiries via calls and emails promptly. The ideal candidate brings experience in leasing, customer service, sales, real estate, hospitality, or retail environments and excels at interacting with diverse personalities, a skill enhanced by bilingual abilities. Job Requirements
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel and exposure to social media
- Knowledge of leasing software is a plus including Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata, Onesite, MRI
- Ability to work weekends as required

Job Duties
- Greet prospective residents and give property tours while determining housing needs and preferences
- Assist new residents with leasing paperwork including applications, lease agreements, and employment or credit checks
- Collect security deposits, rent, and other charges associated with resident move-ins
- Communicate all lease and community policies to new and current residents
- Follow up with leads and prospects that did not lease
- Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting and adding last-minute touches
- Seek out new residents through creative marketing techniques
- Manage the lease renewal process and resident retention efforts
- Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries
