Job Description
RHA Health Services is a well-established healthcare provider dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as those facing mental health and substance use challenges. With more than 30 years of experience, RHA has developed a strong reputation for delivering compassionate and personalized services. The organization is committed to creating safe, supportive, and encouraging environments where the people they serve can thrive and achieve their best possible personal outcomes. Operating across multiple states including North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and New Jersey, RHA continues to expand its impact and reach, prioritizing the wellbeing of both its clients and employees.
Joining RHA Health Services means becoming part of a mission-driven team where the focus is on enhancing the quality of life for individuals with varying needs. The team is composed of professionals who are passionate about making a real difference — this includes those who directly support people as well as those who maintain the physical environment. The role we are currently hiring for is that of a part-time BH Housekeeper. This position is classified as regular employment and requires someone who is positive, personable, and dedicated to providing excellent custodial services. The BH Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy facility, which directly affects the comfort, safety, and overall quality of life for residents and staff alike.
The primary responsibility of the BH Housekeeper is to ensure that the cleanliness and sanitation of the entire facility meet high-quality standards. This includes a wide array of duties such as cleaning bathrooms, rooms, offices, and common areas; maintaining floors through buffing, waxing, and mopping; and handling laundry tasks such as washing, drying, and folding residents' clothes and linens. The role also involves disinfecting bed mattresses and ensuring that utility storage areas are free from fire hazards. Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and using housekeeping supplies responsibly are essential aspects of this position.
In addition to routine cleaning, the BH Housekeeper participates in the organization’s Quality Assurance Assessment system by contributing to Mealtime Assessment, Environmental Assessment, Interaction Assessment, and Third Shift Assessment activities. This integration ensures that housekeeping standards are continuously monitored and improved to support a healthy living environment. The role requires someone who can efficiently manage multiple responsibilities, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and work collaboratively within a team dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations.
RHA Health Services offers comprehensive benefits for full-time employees, including early access to earned wages through Payactiv, employee perks and discount programs, paid time off, health and insurance benefits, 401(k) retirement savings plans, and wellbeing programs that cover physical, emotional, and financial health. Additionally, qualifying employees may participate in chronic disease management programs focused on hypertension and diabetes. Training opportunities such as free CPR, first aid, and job-specific courses are also provided to foster professional growth within the organization.
If you are passionate about contributing to a meaningful cause and thrive in an environment centered around care and respect, the BH Housekeeper position at RHA Health Services offers a rewarding opportunity to join a team making a profound impact. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a part-time position that combines responsibility, teamwork, and the chance to support a vital mission.
