The Beverage Supervisor position at Sodexo is based at the dynamic Hard Rock Stadium, where events vary and the atmosphere is vibrant and fast-paced. This is a full-time role offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21.63 to $29.19. The Beverage Supervisor will oversee beverage service operations across multiple events and daily functions, ensuring smooth execution, adherence to alcohol service laws, and delivering a superior guest experience. This role involves direct supervision of bartenders, beverage attendants, and support staff, coordinating closely with management, culinary teams, and event leadership.

Responsibilities span various service formats, including bars, receptions, premium areas, banquets, and special events held at the stadium. The Beverage Supervisor is tasked with staffing oversight, managing service flow, inventory control, and resolving any issues related to beverage operations. Flexibility in work hours is required, with varying shifts and open availability preferred, to support the diverse schedule of events.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of beverage, bar, or food and beverage service experience
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience in beverage or event operations preferred
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations
  • Working knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices and beverage operations
  • TIPS or TEAM alcohol training or equivalent

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide on-site supervision of beverage service operations during events and assigned shifts
  • Assign staff to beverage stations, bars, or service areas and adjust assignments as needed during events
  • Conduct pre-event or pre-shift meetings to review event details, beverage menus, service expectations, and compliance requirements
  • Support training and onboarding of beverage staff during service as needed
  • Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds
  • occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements
