The Beverage Shift Manager position at Graton Resort & Casino is a pivotal role within the beverage operations team. This full-time managerial role commands a salary of $95,000 annually and requires a dynamic and experienced individual to oversee daily beverage department activities during each shift. The Beverage Shift Manager ensures that the department delivers exceptional service to both internal team members and external guests, upholding the highest standards of hospitality and operational efficiency.

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly and efficient beverage service to guests and team members
  • Oversee day-to-day operations during the shift to ensure smooth beverage service
  • Make decisions related to beverage revenue, guest service, and team member relations
  • Monitor and coordinate activities of beverage department team members
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
  • Supervise, plan and schedule beverage activities for the shift
  • Circulate actively throughout bar areas to ensure service quality and protocol adherence
  • Ensure all beverage equipment and systems operate effectively and coordinate maintenance as needed
  • Promote responsible alcohol service in compliance with laws and training
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure cleanliness of beverage areas
  • Conduct team meetings, counseling, and training to maintain high performance
  • Hire and train new team members utilizing job coach programs
  • Evaluate and oversee job performance, holding subordinates accountable for duties and standards
  • Maintain quality control of products and services, ensuring consistent excellence
  • Communicate regularly with guests, team members, management, and other departments to resolve issues and improve operations
