Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service preferred
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- completion of Food Handling Certification
- strong communication skills
- physical ability to stand walk lift push and pull for extended periods
- willingness to wear required personal protective equipment
- basic math proficiency
- ability to work independently with limited supervision
Job Qualifications
- Previous exposure to customer service is preferred
- preference will be given to those who have experience in handling cash
- though advantageous previous barista experience is not required
- a basic understanding of math concepts and the ability to count accurately are vital
- skill in functioning alone with limited supervision
- capability in understanding English engaging in communication and adhering to recipes is essential
- it is compulsory to finish the Food Handling Certification as mandated
- conforming to the designated attire expectations is required
- physical demands may include lifting bending pushing pulling and extended walking and standing
- the application of Personal Protective Equipment PPE may be essential
Job Duties
- Efficiently handle payment processing using a register or POS system including cash and credit card transactions
- greet and help clients forecasting their needs to facilitate a positive encounter
- comply with the brand's expectations in the preparation and service of coffee tea and specialized beverages
- adhere to the set standards of the facility when preparing and delivering food items to customers
- ensure the cash drawer's accuracy complete the necessary paperwork for cashier duties and handle bank deposits securely
- observe and follow the cash management guidelines and procedures at Aramark
- establish and break down coffee bar workstations or retail space with a priority on cleanliness and organized structure
