The role of Beverage Server at Heritage Hotels & Resorts is a significant position integral to delivering an elevated guest experience through attentive and professional beverage service. This position requires a person who views every guest interaction as an opportunity to make a lasting and positive impression. The Beverage Server is responsible for delivering seamless and intentional service that aligns with the luxury standards of the establishment. This involves maintaining strong product knowledge about beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, enabling the server to make knowledgeable recommendations and prepare orders accurately. Attention to detail and a warm, genuine hospitality approach are key to enhancing the overall guest experience, supporting smooth service flow, and fostering a welcoming environment where guests feel cared for and eager to return.
The Beverage Server must greet guests promptly, take beverage orders accurately, follow established recipes and presentation standards, and ensure the delivery of beverages to the correct guests in various settings including bars, lounges, and dining areas. Additionally, this role requires monitoring guest satisfaction, responding swiftly to any requests or concerns, verifying legal drinking age through proper ID checks, and adhering to responsible alcohol service practices. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of service stations, bar areas, and guest-facing spaces is essential, as is assisting with setup and breakdown of areas before and after shifts. Collaboration with bartenders and kitchen staff is required to ensure a smooth and professional flow of service. The Beverage Server is also tasked with processing orders and payments accurately using POS systems and staying informed about current beverage menus, specials, and promotions. Compliance with all safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations is mandatory, alongside maintaining a professional appearance consistent with uniform and grooming standards. This role contributes significantly to protecting company assets and upholding confidentiality of proprietary and guest information, ensuring a trustworthy and professional service environment.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous hospitality or food and beverage experience preferred
- Luxury or upscale service experience preferred
- Experience with POS systems preferred
- Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification required
- Strong communication, multitasking and customer service skills
- Working knowledge of restaurant point of sale systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push and pull up to 25+ pounds
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays
