This position requires excellent communication skills to report shortages, maintenance needs, and opportunities for operational improvement to supervisors and managers promptly. Duties include managing stock supplies in designated areas, regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors, trash removal, and maintenance of specific equipment like margarita containers. The employee will be responsible for polishing brass fixtures, mirrors, and tile areas to ensure that all public spaces reflect the high standards expected by both guests and the company. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or similar environment preferred
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly after training
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations including Board of Health Standards
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Commitment to maintain personal grooming and uniform standards during shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a related hospitality or cleaning role preferred
- Knowledge of alcohol service and health regulations
- Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to carry out physical tasks related to cleaning and maintenance
Job Duties
- Practice, support, and promote Graton Resort & Casino's culture and service standards at all times
- Inform immediate supervisor of product shortages and equipment needs
- Carry work cards at all times during shift
- Serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with alcohol awareness training
- Behave in a positive, professional manner reflecting company practices
- Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and comply with Board of Health Standards
- Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards
- Know MSDS booklet location
- Display knowledge of all emergency procedures
- Inform manager on duty of any team member or guest opportunities
- Utilize cleaning supplies including stainless steel cleaner, disinfectants and all-purpose cleaners
- Maintain cleanliness of stock in pump/soda room, sweep and mop floors, remove trash, remove margarita containers, ensure area is well stocked and notify manager when orders must be placed
- Polish all brass behind bars and surrounding tile area
- Polish all mirrors
- Maintain image of all bars and storage areas
- Perform other job related duties as assigned
