Job Duties
- Ensure that all beverage products served meet the established specifications and standards
- Communicate variances from the established standards to the Director of Food and Beverage
- Ensure that proper levels of service are provided based on forecasted need
- Complete the required daily financial tools and reports
- Work with Finance to ensure that all revenue is captured and reported in an accurate and relevant manner
- Ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls including compliance guidelines and inventory controls
- Execute and audit beverage inventory and cost control systems and procedures
- Prepare necessary paperwork, order supplies and equipment for efficient operations
- Analyze and evaluate profit and loss statements and recommend alternate courses of action
- Direct Purchasing Agent in beverage purchasing matters
- Solicit guest feedback by direct interaction and act immediately on guest complaints
- Maintain a neat, clean, safe, and comfortable work environment
- Ensure service equipment is handled safely and report mechanical problems
- Achieve corporate, property and departmental goals and maintain positive results
- Monitor budget to run the department efficiently
- Conduct service education programs and lead personnel performance
- Manage and supervise all beverage servers on all shifts
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching, terminations and other personnel issues
- Develop and implement schedules based on customer activity
- Communicate regularly with employees about casino activities and events
- Perform payroll duties and maintain attendance records and personnel files
- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback
- Ensure staff behavior and appearance comply with standards
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional work environment
- Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to company policies
- Attend necessary meetings and assist in other projects as directed
- Adapt duties, responsibilities and requirements as needed
- Work hours based on a 24-hour schedule.
