At Pechanga Resort Casino, the Beverage Manager holds a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence of beverage operations across all service points including the casino floor, nightclubs, and dining areas. This full-time position is tasked with overseeing every aspect of beverage service — from staff scheduling and training to day-to-day operational management and adherence to company policies. The Beverage Manager is entrusted with enforcing standards that comply strictly with PRC policies as well as gaming and liquor laws, ensuring a safe and superior guest experience.

Responsibilities in this role include supervising beverage staff recruitment, induction, coaching, and disciplinary actions, guaranteeing that all team members uphold the Four Diamond commitment to guest service. Budget management is a critical component, requiring the Beverage Manager to meet financial goals through precise forecasting, inventory control, and cost management strategies. Working in close partnership with the Director of Beverage and other department managers, the Beverage Manager contributes to scheduling plans that maximize efficiency and productivity during peak periods.

The role demands a professional demeanor and a proactive approach to service quality, including conducting routine walkthroughs of all beverage service areas to identify and rectify any shortcomings. Compliance with liquor laws is closely monitored, and the Beverage Manager ensures these standards are consistently enforced across all outlets. They also oversee communication flow within the department, maintain performance standards, and participate in the development and implementation of new operational systems or concepts.

Candidates for this position should possess at least an associate degree or a relevant combination of experience and education, alongside strong communication, mathematical, and reasoning skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Micros POS are highly preferred. The ability to maintain confidentiality and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays is essential. Holding or qualifying for a class A gaming license is mandatory to comply with regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Must qualify for and maintain class A gaming license
  • Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to manage budgets and forecasting

Job Qualifications

  • Six months to one year related experience or training

Job Duties

  • Oversee beverage operations on casino floor, nightclubs and dining outlets
  • Coordinate scheduling and training of beverage staff
  • Ensure compliance with Pechanga Resort Casino policies and liquor laws
  • Monitor inventory and control of equipment
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify deficiencies
  • Work with Director of Beverage on revenue and cost forecasts
