The company is currently seeking a Beverage Manager to join its growing team. This key leadership position is responsible for overseeing beverage operations for major events, contributing to the recruitment and hiring of staff, and providing ongoing leadership and support to current employees. Acting as a central communication hub between the client and all game-day operations, the Beverage Manager ensures seamless execution of beverage services. This role involves collaborating with sales and culinary teams to understand event specifics, managing logistics such as specialty equipment and product distribution, and maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation standards. The Beverage Manager also plays a vital role in client relations, engaging directly with suite holders and administrators to support menu development and elevate guest experiences. Job Requirements
- minimum of 3 years experience in food service leadership
- experience in high volume catering or stadium food and beverage preferred
- strong organizational and computer skills
- excellent communication and listening abilities
- ability to manage and lead teams
- physical ability to lift approximately 40 lbs
- willingness to work collaboratively and individually
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in food service leadership, high volume catering and/or stadium food and beverage experience preferred
- must be a team player
- well organized
- strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- excellent listening and communication skills
- renowned time management skills
- strong customer service skills with the desire to exceed client expectations
- knowledge of catering operations
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting approx. 40 lbs
Job Duties
- Work with account executives and sales team to fully understand event details including custom menus, event set up, equipment needs, and event execution timeline
- frequent meetings and open lines of communication with sales, operations, and culinary team in preparation for each event
- prepare organizational documents such as specialty equipment/linen distribution, dry product distribution, menu signage
- manage and support staff including servers, bartenders, pantry attendants
- directly communicate with suite holders and administrators, supporting menu development in each suite on game days
- ensure safety and sanitation guidelines are carried out effectively
- work closely with management on all employee related matters including hiring, training, and coaching to ensure high performance and compliance
