The Beverage Manager position at MGM Resorts International's Excalibur resort plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success and seamless operation of the beverage and cocktail services throughout multiple outlets. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 plus years of experience in resort or high-volume beverage management
  • Proven track record of managing multiple beverage outlets
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to maintain high standards of guest service and compliance

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar resort or high-volume hospitality setting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple beverage outlets or venues simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of state liquor laws and compliance requirements
  • Experience with training and development of staff
  • Ability to analyze financial data and manage budgets

Job Duties

  • Monitor daily beverage operations including budgeting and guest service standards
  • Oversee execution of policies, training programs, schedules, and regulations for beverage staff
  • Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and coach beverage team members
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on employee relations
  • Maintain health, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in all beverage areas
  • Ensure compliance with state liquor regulations and responsible alcohol service
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of liquor brands, beers, wines, non-alcoholic selections, menus, and preparation methods
