Job Description

Invited is a distinguished leader in the hospitality and service industry, operating since 1957 with a steadfast commitment to building lasting relationships and enriching the lives of its members, guests, and employees. As the largest owner and operator of private clubs nationwide, Invited proudly manages over 130 exclusive country clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs offering unparalleled amenities. These amenities include championship golf courses, modern workspaces, handcrafted cuisine, resort-style pools, state-of-the-art racquet facilities, fitness centers, and much more. The company fosters a diverse and inclusive culture focused on delivering exceptional experiences to its members and guests through dedicated teamwork and service excellence.

Join Invited as a Beverage Manager, a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of beverage services across our esteemed clubs. The Beverage Manager supervises inventory control, maintains the highest standards of beverage quality, and ensures organization and cleanliness within bar areas. This position requires managing beverage programs that include wine lists, seasonal cocktails, beers, and spirits, accounting for member preferences while maintaining financial accountability. You will work closely with the Executive Chef, Food & Beverage Director, and other team members to create innovative beverage offerings, organize educational programs for staff, and participate actively in private events and wine committee meetings.

The role demands strong leadership to manage dining room and bar staff schedules, conduct service meetings, and assist in performance evaluations. As a key liaison, the Beverage Manager engages with members and guests to provide personalized beverage recommendations, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and foster an environment that exceeds member expectations through impeccable service standards and the consistent application of the club’s 3-steps of service.

This dynamic position involves working on the floor during service hours to maintain quality control and customer satisfaction, overseeing beverage aspects of private dining events, and promoting upselling initiatives to enhance revenue. The Beverage Manager also plays a vital role in cost control measures, balancing beverage-related expenditures including wine, beer, liquor, and labor costs, to align with Invited’s operational goals.

Applicants must bring a college degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management, with a minimum of three years in a leadership role within a club, restaurant, or hospitality setting, along with at least two years in the wine industry. A Level 1 Sommelier certificate (CMS1) is required, and ongoing professional development is strongly supported. Preferred candidates will have experience designing successful wine and cocktail programs and hold specialized training in the beverage industry.

The position demands physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and perform various tasks in diverse environments, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Invited offers a comprehensive total rewards package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off to support work-life balance. This role offers the opportunity to be part of an inclusive team dedicated to excellence in hospitality, delivering exceptional member experiences that define Invited’s legacy and future.
