A focus on maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards is critical, as is the ability to develop creative wine lists, cocktail menus, and promotions that enhance the member experience. The Beverage Manager also plays a key role in planning beverage offerings for club events such as tournaments and private functions.

Successful candidates will bring extensive experience in high-volume or upscale dining environments, a strong knowledge of beverage trends, mixology, wine, spirits, and craft cocktails. They will demonstrate excellent leadership skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance related to alcohol service. Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management software is essential, along with certifications such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol and Food Handler’s Certification.

This role demands excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure, and a passion for delivering excellence in hospitality. Blackhawk Country Club offers a dynamic and rewarding work environment with opportunities to contribute to a premier private club that values its team members and fosters a culture of growth, respect, and exceptional service.
