Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
- Must adhere to the SGC Shoe policy for all Beverage Cocktail Servers
- Ability to stand walk and move through all areas of the casino
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced casino environment
- Ability to work where smoking is permitted
- Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine months from commencement of employment
- Meet attendance and scheduling requirements
Job Qualifications
- Outgoing friendly personality and a cheerful accommodating disposition
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public employees and customers
- Ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees
- Ability to resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- Two years previous customer service experience preferred
Job Duties
- Work in assigned area such as a dining room lounge or casino floor and pleasantly take beverage order from guests
- Present the beverage order to the bartender and write checks properly while waiting for the beverage to be prepared
- Present check to the guest accept payment and give change when necessary
- Maintain the server’s station in a neat clean and sanitary condition at all times
- Be knowledgeable of casino promotions and events and inform customers of forthcoming special events and other facilities
- Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security and comply with all information security policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate in a pleasant friendly and professional manner
- Meet the attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory departmental and company policies
