The role of Cart Driver / Snack Shack Attendant at The Biltmore Hotel is vital in maintaining superior guest service on the golf course. This position focuses on delivering the highest levels of service and product knowledge to our guests as they enjoy their time on the green. The attendant is charged with the responsibility of operating the beverage and snack cart, assisting guests by providing refreshments and supplements during their game, and maintaining thorough knowledge of all food and beverage offerings. Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum one year experience in fast paced guest food service environment
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language
- Must be able to compute accurate mathematical calculations
- Must be able to provide legible communication and directions
- Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Must be able to prioritize and organize
- Must be able to think clearly, remain calm and resolve problems using sound judgment
- Must be able to follow directions thoroughly
- Must understand guest’s service needs
- Must be able to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent resort data
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and possess basic typing skills
- Must possess moderate to advanced computer skills
- Must be able to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
- Must be adept to multitasking
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Must be able to use, carry, and operate all necessary office equipment using finger dexterity
- Must be able to communicate with employees, managers, subordinates and guests through verbal communication, hearing ability, and visual acuity
- Must be able to visually look at a computer for extended periods of time
- Must be able to adapt to moderate temperatures in the hotel environment
- Must have valid US issued driver’s license

Job Duties
- Assist the guests with beverages throughout the game at least every 45 minutes
- See guests twice on the front nine and twice on the back nine holes
- Operate the beverage cart
- Maintain and provide accurate par list
- Have knowledge of rules of the golf course game
- Maintain cart cleanliness
- Have knowledge of all holes of the golf course
- Consistently adhere to policies and procedures of The Biltmore as outlined in the BSOP’s
- Assist co-workers in the performance of their responsibilities when necessary
- Maintain the highest levels of sanitation and safety in the workplace
