Job Description
Astor Creek Country Club is a premier golf and country club located in the vibrant city of Port St. Lucie on Florida's picturesque Treasure Coast. This facility offers an exceptional golf experience centered around a beautifully designed 18-hole golf course that balances challenge, tranquility, and playability for golfers of all skill levels. The club features extensive amenities including a fully equipped Pro Shop, a 15-acre driving range, a 3-acre short game complex, and a sprawling 15,000-square-foot practice putting green. In addition to golf, the club is enhancing its offerings with a state-of-the-art fitness center, sports courts, a resort-style swimming pool, various dining options, and a lively Sports Bar, providing a full-service social and recreational environment for members and guests.
Astor Creek Country Club is currently seeking energetic and friendly Beverage Cart Attendants to join their Food & Beverage team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy spending their workday outdoors, interacting with members and guests, and providing top-tier service in a dynamic golf course setting. As a Beverage Cart Attendant, you will play an essential role in enriching the golf experience by offering convenient beverage and snack service directly on the course. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a well-stocked beverage cart, engaging warmly with guests, and ensuring timely delivery of refreshments throughout their rounds.
Working part-time at a competitive wage of $10.98 per hour plus tips, this position suits those looking for a flexible and sociable working environment. Beverage Cart Attendants report directly to the Food & Beverage Manager and the General Manager and operate on scheduled shifts. This is a non-exempt hourly role offering the chance to be part of a team that values work-life balance and fosters a positive, rewarding workplace culture.
Day-to-day duties include setting up and maintaining the beverage cart with a variety of beverages and snacks, ensuring compliance with facility policies regarding inventory and safety standards. You will maintain knowledge of beverage offerings, including wines and other alcoholic drinks, and communicate this knowledge effectively to customers. The role requires you to greet guests with a professional and friendly demeanor, fulfill their beverage requests, process payments, and keep accurate inventory records. You will also be responsible for minor maintenance of the carts to prevent breakdowns and ensure cleanliness and proper storage after each shift.
This position demands a high level of customer service, reliability, and attention to detail. Candidates must be self-motivated, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well under fast-paced conditions. Physical requirements include the capability to perform moderate physical labor, including lifting items weighing up to 40 pounds and maintaining prolonged periods of standing and movement outdoors. The job may involve exposure to outdoor elements and requires adherence to safety protocols to minimize risks from equipment and environmental hazards.
Becoming part of Astor Creek Country Club means joining a team dedicated to excellence in hospitality and guest satisfaction. The club’s emphasis on a supportive work environment and lifestyle balance makes it an appealing opportunity for energetic candidates passionate about golf, customer service, and working outdoors. This role not only provides an avenue to engage with a vibrant community of golf enthusiasts but also offers valuable experience in the hospitality and leisure industry.
