Job Description
Providence Hospitality Partners, established in 2002 and headquartered in Denver, Colorado, is a distinguished hospitality management company dedicated to operating high-quality hotels that deliver outstanding guest experiences. Our mission is to run hotels where every guest wants to stay, every associate wants to work, and every investor wants to own. We foster a corporate culture that promotes teamwork, service excellence, strong work ethic, and personal balance, while also actively enhancing the well-being of the communities we serve. Our commitment to clearly defined objectives and support for our associates helps us maintain high standards and achieve operational success across our properties. As a leader in the hospitality industry, Providence Hospitality Partners pursues proactive strategies to support community interests, cultivate employee growth, and maximize investor value, ensuring sustainable and responsible business practices.
The Beverage Bartender role at Providence Hospitality Partners is a dynamic and customer-focused position that is essential to delivering exceptional food and beverage services to our patrons. This role requires a friendly, efficient, and professional approach to bartending, ensuring every guest enjoys a positive and memorable experience. As a Beverage Bartender, you will greet guests upon arrival, assist with seating when necessary, and accurately take food and beverage orders while responding knowledgeably to questions about menu items. You will prepare and serve drinks using proper recipes, glassware, and garnishes, adhering strictly to state liquor laws including verifying legal drinking age. Handling cash register transactions, making change, and issuing receipts accurately are also key components of this position.
In addition to drink preparation and service, you will be responsible for stocking the bar with necessary supplies such as glassware, beer, liquor, mixers, and non-alcoholic beverages. Preparation duties include making bar mixes and garnishes before opening and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards both during and after service hours. The Beverage Bartender also plays a critical role in resolving patron complaints respectfully or escalating issues to management when needed, providing courteous phone support, and collaborating with other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery. This role involves completing necessary paperwork and maintaining organized records.
Success in the Beverage Bartender position requires thorough knowledge of wines, beers, cocktails, and bar operations, along with strong organizational skills and flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should demonstrate excellent customer service, good judgment, and effective communication skills, including the ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds. Previous bar experience is required, and bilingual skills are considered a plus. Our company values a professional appearance and demeanor, creativity, and teamwork in all associates. This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and tolerate varying environmental temperatures and noise levels.
Providence Hospitality Partners offers a comprehensive benefits package to support employee well-being, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; company-paid life insurance; a 401(k) plan with company match; paid time off along with state-required sick pay; paid holidays; hotel discounts; and voluntary disability insurance. If you are passionate about hospitality and customer service and are looking to join a company that prioritizes associate growth and community impact, consider applying for the Beverage Bartender position with Providence Hospitality Partners.
