The role available is for a Barback, an essential support position within the bar staff that ensures the efficient operation of daily bar service. The Barback assists bartenders and cocktail staff by managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and performing routine set-up and breakdown tasks before, during, and after shifts. This position demands individuals with strong physical stamina, organizational skills, and the ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment. Barbacks are responsible for maintaining the bar's appearance, cleanliness, and adequate stock levels of glassware, beverages, and supplies. Key responsibilities include managing recycled or used items such as glasses and bottles, refilling ice bins and beer taps, supporting the sanitation standards of the establishment, and providing excellent guest interaction by promoting menu items and hotel services. This role requires the candidate to be at least 21 years of age with an understanding of alcohol service safety and the appropriate licensing, such as an Alcohol Awareness Card.
