Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must obtain and maintain appropriate licensing with the Alcohol Awareness Card
- Previous bar service experience preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to operate a glassware washing machine and refill ice and beer bins
- Physical ability to push, pull and lift/carry up to 50lbs frequently
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach overhead, bend, kneel, and balance for extended periods
- Ability to communicate well in English, both written and oral
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Previous bar service experience preferred
- Knowledge of serving alcohol with care and menu products
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Ability to communicate in English, both in written and oral form
- Ability of simple reading, math, writing and task completion skills
- Must have skills in compiling, coordination, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must obtain and maintain appropriate licensing with the Alcohol Awareness Card
Job Duties
- Assist bartenders and cocktail staff in performance of their duties
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar on a daily basis including before, during and after shift
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment at all times during shift including removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, picking up and dumping garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, and sanitizing equipment
- Recite and promote the variety of menu items and hotel services
- Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner and conveying hotel activities to guests
- Maintain and organize bars and storerooms including refrigerated units
- Refill chemicals such as hand soap or glass washer chemicals
- Maintain proper inventory of product
- Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
