Job Duties
- Comply with opening and closing duties such as organizing provisions and necessary equipment
- clean all equipment and areas
- lock doors at the end of shifts
- check out with the captain or supervisor before leaving
- organize, stock and maintain work areas
- stock ice, glassware and paper supplies
- remove dirty items from bar surface and tables
- keep work areas, bar, bar furniture, and tables clean and in good condition according to established guidelines
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional
- maintain confidentiality of company information and protect company property
- support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
- assist the team in achieving common goals
- meet quality assurance expectations and standards
- move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance
- stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods or full shift
- read and visually check information in various formats
- handle objects requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination
- reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, crawling and stooping
- navigate sloped, uneven or slippery surfaces and stairways
- ascend and descend service stairs and/or ramps
- greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- speak clearly and professionally
- answer phone calls with appropriate etiquette
- perform other reasonable work tasks as requested by supervisors
