This role is pivotal for creating memorable dining experiences through exceptional service and attention to detail while upholding the company’s service philosophy and standards.
The Server position is a customer-facing role responsible for delivering hospitality by promptly and courteously attending to guest needs. This includes taking and transmitting orders, ensuring the quality and presentation of meals before serving, and managing payment processes accurately. Servers play an integral role in maintaining a clean, organized dining environment by setting up and breaking down service stations and tables, pre-bussing, and managing general cleaning duties. They are expected to assist colleagues when needed and communicate effectively with both guests and management to swiftly address any concerns or complaints regarding food or service.
Ideal candidates for this position must be able to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 30 pounds and standing or moving actively throughout a 9-hour shift in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, including the ability to speak, read, and write English, are essential to provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth operations. Previous experience or skills in sales, responsible alcohol service, and proper cash handling are preferred but not mandatory.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ability to perform some heavy lifting (25-30 pounds)

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in customer service or food service industry preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- customer-focused attitude
- familiarity with cash handling and sales skills preferred
- knowledge of responsible alcohol service preferred
Job Duties
- Set-up and break-down of the dining room and service stations
- clearing and resetting tables
- completing a series of side work assignments
- maintaining cleanliness and organization of tables, floor, chairs, and service stations
- assisting other employees as needed
- pre-bussing tables
- courteously greeting customers and informing them of current food promotions and specials
- answering questions and making suggestions regarding food and beverages
- visually inspecting all products to ensure proper garnishes and appealing presentation
- removing dirty dishes between courses and at the end of the meal
- reporting all food and service complaints to the manager
- stocking silverware, small containers, food products, garnishes, condiments, and various items
