The Server role at Bertucci's is crucial for maintaining the company's service philosophy. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to perform some heavy lifting (25-30lbs)
  • ability to work well under pressure
  • ability to stand and remain active for a 9-hour shift
  • ability to communicate in English (speak, read, and write)
  • able to work well in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Set-up and break-down of the dining room and service stations
  • clearing and resetting tables
  • performing side work assignments
  • general cleaning of the work area
  • keeping tables, floor, chairs, and service station clean, neat, and organized
  • assisting other employees as needed
  • pre-bussing tables
  • courteously greeting customers and informing them of current food promotions and specials
  • answering questions and making suggestions regarding food and beverages
  • visually inspecting all products to ensure garnishes are added appropriately and food is eye-appealing
  • removing dirty dishes as needed between courses and at the end of the meal
  • reporting all food and service complaints to the manager
  • stocking silverware, small containers, food products, garnishes, condiments, and various items
